For the enormous importance of the locus it is to inaugurate to trace such a bond to fathom its ramifications, its viewpoints the historical and modern texts referring to it. As the methodological procedures of historical research papers stipulate that there should be a definition to the fraternity in the first section, the second respectively tackles the fraternity acts in the Glorious Quran, the third one forays into three parts; fraternity in general, texts pertinent to the fraternity between the prophet and the Imam and the manifestation of the prophet and the Imam as brothers, yet the fourth is allotted to trace the fabricated tales to twist the content of the narrative to either usurp the right of the Imam or to infiltrate some fabricated virtues into some companions.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed AL-Qasimi

AL-AMEED JOURNAL, Volume 4, Issue 3, Pages 125-159

Semiotic research papers take a crestive evolution in the orbit of searching, editing and Arabizing that leads to attract the heed of the Arab researchers, to the extent it might turn the prow of their focus. Such a propensity could be regarded as ostensible in time, the Arabic semiotic lesson emerges as salient, as a science from the modern humanist sciences and as a system of cultural, artistic and literary reflection at one time. Consequently, the present paper is to trace the discourse controversy in the semiotic lesson via two axes: it is to investigate the acts of mixture and to delve into its reasons; it is to wield the defects dealt with as positive purporting usefulness, research depth and productive erudition. To conclude, the semiotic terms depend upon changeable concepts in a changeable time in thought; linguistic or logical or philosophical backgrounds. No way to exploit such a lesson unless there is cognizance of the aesthetic and intellectual backgrounds the semiotic trends and schools rely on to perceive the thought flexibility and dynamicity on one hand, to shield the paper from the prejudice to a school not to another one and to avert our project from dovetailing divergent contradicted backgrounds on the other hand.

Lecturer Dr. Khadija H. Salman; Lecturer Dr. Nawal J. Jani

AL-AMEED JOURNAL, Volume 4, Issue 3, Pages 163-212

Psychologists and researchers use the term religious orientation to refer to the way in which a person lives his life according to his beliefs and values, and regards it the most useful variable for understanding the functions of religion regardless of the type of religion, traditions and religious affiliation. This is consistent with Frankl 1982 stressing the importance of spiritual and religious side). Experimental research studies conducted in this area have shown that those who enjoy a high level of piety are - compared with low-piety - in a better condition, content in their lives, optimistic in thinking. In addition to that they are less incurred to psychological pressure, depression and anxiety. So the current research study aims at knowing: 1. Significant Differences in religious orientation and psycho – immunity according to Gender (male – female ) To achieve these aims researchers adopted (Al-Araji, 2007) scale to measure religious orientation, that consists of (38) items in its final form and they also adopted (Abdul-Jabbar, 2010) scale that consists in its final form of (30) items to measure the psycho- immunity. After calculated the validity and reliability of these two scales. the researchers apply them on a sample of students consisting of (200) male and female persons chosen randomly from the college of education / of Al Mustansiriya University. The results indicate the following points : 1. University students have a high level of religious orientation and psycho- immunity . 2. There is a strong positive relationship between religious orientation and psycho- immunity. 3. There is no significant differences in relationship between religious orientation and psycho- immunity according to Gender (male – female). In the light of these results the researcher presents a set of recommendations and suggestions for future studies.

AL-AMEED JOURNAL, Volume 4, Issue 3, Pages 215-263

Beyond the meant study there are certain reasons ; it is the discourse confusion that stalks through our linguistic studiers under the pretext of time pacing and the language brevity and laxity tom meet the requirements of the time and its necessity . In time, the Arabic is of the huge linguistic heritage exuding with whatsoever the good promising pens inspire to preserve the Arabic and convey it to the interlocutors in transparency and purity. The present paper endeavours to answer the suggested axes: The first axis tackles the historical derivation of the discourse via the lesson procedures. The second axis endeavours to take hold of knowledge instruments the modernists employ and traces the discourse derivation of the old . The third axis exploits the results of the second axis in light of discourse attempts stemming from defaces bases steeped with the brevity of heritage cognizance , moreover the translation styles tinged with commerciality at the face of the scientific truth that should be under surveillance in translating.

What are the trends, dimension and knowledge limits of this concept? Considering the rhetorical horizon of the necessity whose concepts converge with the figurative concepts: Is it possible to produce modern formulations of figurativity in term of language making necessity as a base and essence of poeticism? Peculiar Allusion in the Poetic Observation of Hamid Al-Dukhi

Lecturer Dr. Ahmad A. Al-Fartoosi

AL-AMEED JOURNAL, Volume 4, Issue 3, Pages 467-497

The contemporary poetic experience, especially in Iraq, has been characterized by its ability to impose textual existence coping with the developmental performance and systematic change in Arabic poetry structure . Such precocity would have not been possible, had the poets themselves been not able to repeat themselves and eschewed the empirical trend bound to the Arabic poem for decades during which it could not divest itself of the oratory performance with its campaigning implicatures. As a result, one could say that the Arabic poetic text was saturated with the oratory and brotherhood poems void of the poetic spirit and its sentimental angles to the extent many of these experiments vanished. The new poetic emergence responds to the sense of creativity that renders poetry into being a cause and issue that never cease delving into poeticism steeped with emotional visions emanating from the heart of mankind contemplation in the context to indicate the directions of the aesthetic dimension and the extent of artistic scope that enriches textual semantics and gives move to the imagery toward the worlds of precocity and amazement. The observation of Hamad Al-Dokhi runs equal with the limits and emulation of such an artistic artwork repudiating the documentary visions in terms of visual propensity in the prurview of his poetry . This study embodies a critical vision seldom do researchers deal with, it is the concentrating vision about the self-creativity and omnipresence of the persona to enrich them with the aesthetic factors and the artistic values repudiating to be listed under the wing of juxtaposition, rumination and imitation , so the present paper addresses the following: Chapter one: the impact of poeticism in achieving the poetic vision. Chapter two: the imaginative dimension and its aesthetic manifestations. Chapter three: empirical modernism and its artistic factors. The present study intends to be the second threshold of the knowledge series the researcher exerts himself to wreathe the creative experiences that deserve investigation as these experienced people are in life and not after being dead. Wishing all the best to this work and its human and knowledge propensities.

The Rime of Marlow: Echoes of Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner in Conrad's Heart of Darkness

Asst. Prof. Basim N. Jeloud Al-Ghizawi

AL-AMEED JOURNAL, Volume 4, Issue 3, Pages 19-46

Abstract Romanticism touches the thematic and structural features of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. The play of the memory across time and the juxtaposing of an older poet with his younger self are apparent in Conrad's modernist piece. The character-narrator of Conrad is a Buddha-like speaker in a particular and localized outdoor setting speaking with a silent human audience. He begins with a fluent vernacular speech which changes quickly into a very formal one. This makes Marlow's tale a rime in the Romantic tradition of Coleridge's "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner". Keywords: “Ancient Mariner” syndrome, interposed narrator, frame narrative, mystery, chiaroscuro, quest, solitude.
